  this was so good. i was entranced. so erotic? so homoerotic? i was sad at the end i was really rooting for them.

  I watched this on the plane bc ive heard it compared to Ladybird, specifically “Ladybird for women of color.” I don’t like calling Real Women Have Curves to  Ladybird especially since the former came first and should stand on its own without being limited to a version of a movie made by a white woman about a white woman but for woc.
