Watching this back in 2020 got me into Matt Furie so I wanted to revisit it. As good as I remembered.
It’s impressive the breadth of emotions you experience while watching. I guess it reflects how bizarre Matt’s experience is. Is there a comparable situation in history?
The doc feels prescient given what’s happening in the States at the moment. I had actually forgotten how deranged the climate was in 2015-17. Somehow it’s gotten worse

It's a bad movie in my opinion. Really patchy, too long, dull. No tension throughout. I was bored. I wanted to switch it off but out of pride stuck it out. I shouldn't have bothered
The action is amateurish, had the feel of a well made YouTube video. Gyllenhal barely wants to be here.
