  aka watching people open and close doors for 85 minutes.

  i mean, it was so pretty. and complaining about the cinematography is actually crazy because it was so simple, yet technically impressive. but maybe because it felt so impersonal and detached, it was the most i’ve ever just stopped paying attention to a plot and just started thinking about the stylistic choices. so much movement but also none at all. it’s like there was a mission to try and film…
