Re-upped because I needed my wife to see this masterpiece. I waxed poetic about every fourth shot and she said she liked it and would give it 4 out of 5 stars if she used Letterboxd. I chalk that up as a W.

Mid-semester insomnia watch.
This exceeded my expectations pretty thoroughly. I went in expecting a goofy horror movie that gestured vaguely at religion. The first half, in particular, sets up a great horror premise, one that doesn't feel wildly unfamiliar, but it also doesn't reinvent the wheel.
It's a bit like if Jigsaw were a charismatic theology professor whose seminar I absolutely do not want to be in.
