This movie is more than just friendship. This movie should be a right of passage for all young people. I can’t believe I hadn’t give it a chance sooner, but looking back on it now as a kid about to graduate college next year. Time is precious. I’ll remember every friendship I make moving forward in this life. Something special about this movie and the bond each friend had even though soon after they would all go their separate ways.…

“Give my love to your mom”. Relationships are so complex. The ebs and flow of life between individuals is a beautiful thing. The connection between father and daughter in this film surpassed any of my expectations. Paul Mescal was phenomenal as was Frankie Corio as his daughter. Not to mention the scenery of Turkey and overall style was peak. The only reason this does not get a five stars for me was the fact that the beginning was a little slow and it took a little bit to get rolling. Anyway, this was great. Watch it. This is a girl dad movie.

Probably my favorite performance from Chalamet. The scenes and overall vibe of this film are immaculate. The relationship between Ellio and Oliver made me question if it was truly wrong for Oliver to pursue Ellio knowing he was only 17 and that he was the son of his work partner. Armie Hammer’s performance was also severely underated as well as Michael Stuhlbarg as Elliot’s father. The last scene with Ellio and his father was powerful. Soundtrack is also unbelievable.

Hey Paul! This will currently be my highest rated film. A proper excellence of art and madness. A classic that is not overrated at all. American Psycho exemplifies consumerism and the powers of manipulation and charisma. Bateman becomes Allen at the cost of his own self like many do in reality.
