Star Trek: The Motion Picture 1979
From a visual perspective, it's spectacular eye candy, but otherwise it's a convoluted slog that leaves you yawning and scratching your head. Watched the director's edition.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2012
This mostly feels like a glossy uninspired retread of the first two Raimi movies with a few new elements. I'm sure Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are good in other movies, but here they felt like a massive step down from Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst.
Also, I like the Lizard as a B-list Spider-Man villain, but he isn't compelling enough to carry an entire movie as the sole villain, plus his design in this borders on the uncanny valley.

Korn: Deuce 2002
This documentary starts with Jonathan Davis playing a bagpipe on a mountain. What more can you ask for? Plus they try to get a stinkbug to smoke a cig. And to top it all off there's an obligatory Fred Durst cameo.
Not to mention Adidas tracksuits, cargo pants, and oversized shorts as far as the eye can see.
