  As much a comedy as a horror. Laughed out loud when she turned into the b&m Halloween costume skeleton at the end. Just about has a plot but I'm a firm believer you don't need a discernible plot when the vibes are this good

  Cannibal Holocaust 1980

  This film is guilty of everything it sets out to criticise. Is it just exploitation and hypocrisy? Or is it exposing how dehumanisation and sensationalism work by sucking the watcher into those same processes? Probably a bit of both. Every ounce of enjoyment I took out of what is, either way, a really well made film was another chip off my soul. A truly evil film. Gonna have a shower, a lie down, and a long hard look at myself in the mirror.
