Fear & Loathing in NFLD.
(Unfollowers can suck a lemon)….
“I don't know why I wandered out to this part of Texas drunk, and you took me in and pitied me and helped me to straighten out, marry me. Why? Why did that happen? Is there a reason that happened? And Sonny's daddy died in the war, my daughter killed in an automobile accident. Why? See, I don't trust happiness. I never did, I never will.”
Man, I love country music. Robert Duvall is one hell of a singer. Great film about redemption, love and loss.
“Show no love. Love will get you killed.”
(Watched a few years ago and just remembered so am logging now).
This along with ‘8 Mile’ and ‘Straight Outta Compton’ were big contributions to my love of hip hop music as a teenager.
77 minutes of absolutely fucking nothing with a soundtrack and a screeching baby that’ll burst ur eardrums and camera shots that will make you feel like you have CTE. Every character in this movie is a fucking insufferable asshole. This literally could be used as a method of torture.
Also, the lead actress isn’t even Jewish.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
“But you liked me yesterday. I thought you did”.
Fuck. I need a pint.
First off let me start by saying….. this movie broke my fucking heart a lot of the time. The realness of just being shut out and cut off (no pun intended) by someone who you held in high regard, and thought was ur friend absolutely sucks. It comes from out of nowhere, and hurts like hell when it does happen. All those memories of good times…
