I'm Still Here 2024
I thought this was decent! The presentation of the family's hip and bourgeois life was a bit like "if carlsberg did families," but the disappearance, especially the prison scenes, with the sights and sounds of people being tortured and soldiers scrubbing blood from the floor, was incredibly powerful and frankly terrifying, given the rise of the far right across the globe.

“Lazzaro, are you staring into the void?”
I don't think I've ever seen a film like this, just wow. A beguiling and transcendent film that had me welling up and sighing at its beauty, whilst deftfully grappling with tales of dispossession and class antagonism.
