Arguably one of the best-worst anime ever that was such a flop in Japan that when it was sold to AVD in the mid 2000s, they were told they didn't care what they did to the series (as long as they didn't change the names of the characters and at least didn't deviate too far from the Chinese and Japanese folklore the stories were about)…
