The Wild Robot has a lot going for it. It's a fun premise, and it has great themes of parenthood, pro-life messaging, and working hard even when things are tough, and caring about others above yourself. That's wonderful, and a breath of fresh air. It also does have a beautiful style, though I thought the lighting looked a little flat. It looked very similar to Puss in Boots - the Last Wish, another film I thought was lacking a bit…

This film was everything I hoped it would be. Everyone should watch this film with an open mind and ears ready to listen, because the simple truths it reveals are unchanging and undeniable if you even consider them for 5 minutes.

I took away 1/2 a star because the very ending, although I understood what it was trying to do, felt cheesy, corny, and cliché, and felt possibly a poor choice as the moment that is meant to leave audiences…
