Joker: Folie à Deux 2024
It really is that bad and made worse by how much effort is clearly on the screen in every moment of acting, camera work, and set production. Joker 2 feels very intentional; however, every intentional decision was a misfire that creates a film experience both exhausting, ugly, unintentionally funny (but never in the sardonic witty way it wants), and boring.

Emilia Pérez 2024
Overly hated. Overly rated. Still a mixed bag which embarrassingly stumbles to represent Mexican Cartels or Transfemininity in anything other than a mythologized pantomime.

Elvis 2022
Like that scene from The Simpsons. I'm in Hell and I'm strapped to the chair. The demon says, "so you like fast cuts of Elvis dancing, eh?" The Disaster Artist 2017
More Disaster than Artist. James Franco studied Tommy Wiseau for months, just to deliver a bland impression that you've heard a million times before on the internet. Franco finds nothing new or interesting to say about the creation of the Room. It's more unintentionally sad than funny. Everyone is mean to each other, there are no jokes. Dave Franco gives the best performance as Wiseau's erstwhile "friend" Greg Sestero, but all his role demonstrates is that Sestero is not a very interesting person. No one here is particularly remarkable. Franco fundamentally fails to transform Sestero's book into anything other than a bland retelling.
