A well crafted musical documentary that is a must-watch not only for E-heads fans but as a think piece in Filipino popular culture, politics, and history. Making use of a treasure trove of archival footage going way back to the late 80s.

I, for one, appreciated how the documentary was set against important political moments in our history. It gives the film more relevance as it also serves as a reflection of our history through a once-in-a-lifetime band, whose songs…

    Snow White

    ★★★

The film showcases many impressive and catchy musical numbers, you will surely find yourself singing and humming a song or two after seeing the movie. Rachel Zelger truly is an impressive singer and delivered a magical performance befitting a Disney princess.

Andrew Burnap, who played Jonathan (Snow White’s love interest) was likeable and charming as well. You’ll definitely feel the chemistry between the two leads.

Gal Gadot clearly enjoyed playing the evil queen, I think this might have been the…

What follows is a fun, over-the-top rescue, hilarious rescue mission like no other.

Jack Quiad is cute and charming in a dorky kind of way and watching him play a reluctant and ill equipped hero, who only seemed to be surviving…

    Captain America: Brave New World

    ★★★

You could see that the film struggled with what were clearly a number of re-writes and re-shoots. The tone and quality of the writing were not consistent. There also seemed to be a lot of info dump and explanation through exposition, it would probably be good to watch Incredible Hulk (2008) before seeing this.

I did like that they finally included ‘Celestial Island’ in the plot. Seeing Harrison Ford play yet another president reminded me of ‘Air Force One’ and…
