  If toxic masculinity were a film, it would be Fight Club. Boring, unsurprising twist, and a dumb message. The Pixies song at the end can’t save this pile of poo.

  The first movie I've ever walked out of, and I'm quite disappointed as this was the film I was most looking forward to in 2023. Ari Aster has made great movies (loved Hereditary and Midsommar) but this was the biggest piece of self-indulgent pretentious crap I've ever watched. Aster creates an anxiety-riddled, clearly schizophrenic character and proceeds to abuse him for hours on end. The movie made me miserable and halfway through, I had enough and removed myself from it. Over-bloated and nonsensical, I really have nothing redeeming to say about this movie.
  Call me a weenie, but movies shouldn't make you feel like shit.
