Woyzeck 1979
"you see, us common folk, we don't have virtue... we do what comes naturally"
beautiful film but also deeply sad. a great adaption of the play by georg büchner. while watching this i felt like i had been transported to a world completely devoid of morality. the indifference and levels of cruelty towards woyzeck himself seems to represent the plight of the common man. working and taking it all on the chin while the madness of knowing your lack of…

Deep Red 1975
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
geniunely funny at certain points but not always consistent (probably depends on your sense of humour). the most italian characters you could ever conceive of. the death scenes are fun and pretty creative. the highlight really just like any slasher. i never get sick of the candy red blood personally. my biggest complaint is that some of the scenes in-between major plot points are too drawn out and kind of ruin your immersion. also torn because watching david hemmings hang off a house while working his way down to avoid serious injury with this films distinct music score in the background was very amusing.
