i find it fascinating how so many bollywood films are completely structured around the interval block, with a very clearly defined "first half" and "second half" that you can clearly notice even if the "INTERVAL" text never shows up. even a decidedly "un-bollywood" film like lootera uses this structure too, to almost give us two very different films, one with softer, warmer emotions and the other being hard, cold and difficult to watch at times.
