Good movie but it's dragged down by it's brand of humor. Can't be mad about it as this was made for kids but I'd wish that studios would treat younger audiences with more respect
This movie didn't not feel like a story about The Flash but moreso it felt like an audition for the director of the new DCU Batman movie, one in which Andy Muschietti failed in very single parameter.

It's like Ocean's 11 but with anthropomorphic animals. Impressive visuals but the story falls apart during the second act. Could have been something special if the writing was better
Movies usually don't hold up for me during re-watches but EEAAO had me going through the same emotions that I had experienced on my first watch. If anything, watching it again on the big screen has made me appreciate it even more.
I think that the coolest thing that this film does is the way it ties neatly together at the end. The movies starts with interpersonal problems -> expands into sci-fi territory and poses philosophical questions to the viewers…
