Mindless torture porn dogshit. I'd lick my own arse sooner than I'd watch that again.

I love horror that has a heart behind it. There was an authenticity, and a sort of believability, to the characters and what they were going through that just got to me. And I think it was that empathy I felt for them that lended itself to the sense of dread as the story unfolded. Now listen, I'm not skittish with horror, but this film scared the living shit out of me. However even that didn't trump how utterly heartbroken I was at the end. The implication made in the final minutes absolutely fucked me up.

I fucking hated this film.

Don't ask me why coz I don't know myself. There's nothing wrong with it. In fact it excels in many areas, like Firth's acting. But god damn I hated it.
