Many film sequels find it difficult to follow up to their original. Many have stumbled. They are simply seen as cashing in on what made the original work. They're a lazy and safe studio mode.

The weird thing is that Nick Nolite transforms into a lot of things in this film (he's a shapeshifter!). Yet his most terrifying form is when he's just his human version of himself (it's those eyes!!!)
