"Ready, steady, deadly."
In this movie, Chow Yun-Fat puts on a mustache, drives a speedboat up to a party, shoots a dude without even getting off the boat, then drives away like a bad-ass.
He also falls in love and makes a friend.

"You're asking me how to make a watch. For now, let's stick to the time."
A rollercoaster of dread, darkness, moral ambiguity and death. It asks some pretty tough questions, about the ways we bend our morals to solve seemingly impossible, sticky quandaries, but it doesn't hand you the answers on a platter. The magnificent Emily Blunt is our ride through the war-torn madness and I can't think of anyone who could have done it better. She harbors all the frustration and confusion and stress for us and at some point you just want it all to end, for her sake.
"We're not going back."
Pure, perfect action cinema. Takes hold for 2 hours and basically doesn't let go except a couple moments. Weaves a story that keeps the momentum going and with great consequence and motivation. Very much a movie about women, specifically how the men of the world try to claim and control them. I'm going to see it again soon.
