Your Name. 2016
Giving a film 5 stars is not something I do often but what a GORGEOUS roller coaster ride of emotions this was: I cried, laughed and then cried some more. I was completely captivated and wanted to never leave the world and characters that I had grown so attached to.

The Assassin 2015
One of the most disappointing films of the year for me. And it pains me to say this cause I had such high hopes and wished to like this so much but in the end it just didn't do it for me. I found it completely gorgeous but a little hollow and with characters that were difficult to emotionally connect with. Also, I went in knowing too little about the film so I felt lost at times (too many to be able to truly enjoy the film).
