  Mad watching a film based around the street I live and have grown up on. I walk past the flats Cyril lives daily. Every single conversation in this film rings as true today as I’m sure it did Thatcher Britain. Every character in this exits today almost unchanged. Interesting to see the earlier stages of the gentrification of Islington we accept as standard now.

  So many things glanced over in this. Terrorist attacks on the Vatican and they just move on like nothing happened. A lot of opportunity to say or do something different but doesn’t, but maybe that’s representative of the church.  
  Found it very predictable. 
  Performances, costumes and cinematography were really good.
