  I’ve kept a side eye out for John Cusack after watching him in High Fidelity. After seeing a clip of this film on TikTok I thought I’d give it a go.

  John Cusack yet again plays a self obsessed nob head but he plays it well, this time as a washed up horror writer from a Stephen King short.

  Samuel L Jackson does a brilliant job at hyping up this blooming haunted hotel room prior to the stay.

  Wouldn’t catch me in a haunted hotel room. Some creepy beepy bits, would say it landed the ending too. Nice lil horror.

  I would be a Night Owl for sure 🦉
  Loved the 70s late night talk show setting, something I haven’t seen in an horror which brought a fresh take on the genre whilst still touching on classic tropes. The tensions on and off screen were executed really well.
  Very entertaining!

  Until I read some other Letterboxd reviews I didn’t even know about the ai controversy for the TV indent slides, yikes just pay someone to create these 😬 put a lil sour note on it considering how much I admired the creativity of this indie movie
