Not a bad film at all. Plenty of other movies in the similar vein, but I really enjoyed how it got straight into it and into the prison break. Sometimes there is a lot of bollocks before hand, but there isn't much messing about in this.

    Solid prison break film.

I can't say I hate it and I feel that the hate it's getting is a little extreme. It's nothing amazing and doesn't have some of the high notes as some other entries within the MCU. But it's fine and that fine is elevated by Anthony Mackie's natural charisma.

I am just going to rattle off my pros and cons after finishing the film just over an hour ago...

    Anthony Mackie

The perfect Spider-Man film. Hell the perfect comic book film. It feel like a comic book has come to life. Brilliant characters, so many little jokes.you might have missed the first time around and so many heartfelt moments. Some are just expressions and not even what characters are saying.

As someone who had loved Spider-Man since he was a kid. It's amazing to see that even now, at 28 years old I still have a Spider-Man I can connect with. Thank you Peter B. Parker, amazingly portrayed by Jake Johnson.

I remember randomly finding the trailer for this last year and was excited by it, but then I completely forgot about it. Then it blew up on my Letterboxd and I've finally gotten around to watching it. Really enjoyed it, creepy in all the right ways. Some beautiful shots, specifically one of the first shots with the farm's pond. The cast all do a superb job and the action is incredibly beautiful. I enjoy how the film looks as it feels like a movie from the 70s/80s.

Looking forward to watching Pearl when it's available in the UK.
