Gritty, confusing, smoky, dark, yet oddly warm? Heartwarming father-son relationship where it was least expected. Kind of reminds me of Synedoche, New York in that I felt like my minds eye was implanted into someone else's head and I was watching their memories with them. The night really is full of weirdos, what a strange world.

Arrival 2016
What a lovely movie. As I am in the process of learning another language, the revelations that Louise had gave me goosebumps as the connections to my own life fresh and vivid. A few nights ago I had my first dream entirely in German. Imagining what it would be like to think in a language unbounded by time boggles the mind. I appreciate that the STEM guys took a back seat in this movie, go humanities.
