God I was just hoping for the next scene to be better than the last but I don't think it ever quite increased it's pace, and my criticisms may be partly my fault. I usually have no problem concentrating on watching a film and avoiding distractions but I really struggled to immerse myself in this. Justin Hurwitz really helps this film, and his music is always just downright remarkable and immaculate. I love the jazz in this, I really liked…

Not completely absent of anything good, but this was a difficult watch. The cast was overall the strongest part, with Michael Clarke Duncan and Ben Stiller (obviously) being the standouts. The story was decent but was really slow at times. A few moments made me laugh but not every joke landed, which usually isn't an issue in the other Todd Phillips movies where I'm laughing at each one usually. I don't know, I think it's for the best this avoided the mainstream success of his other efforts

    Great, 5th time logging this.

This movie is so damn entertaining. If I could fill this review with the quotes I remembered I would, but for the sake of myself and anybody who reads this I'll refrain. Just never ending fun and hilarious quips from all the likeable characters, everything you want in a DreamWorks production. It's become a religion quoting this movie and at this point it's still the funniest thing to laugh about with my friends. I'm still on the fence about the CG claymation but I really don't have that many bad words to say about this movie overall

Look, I really didn't want to watch this when I first saw the trailer. I was never really into musicals, I didn't necessarily have an interest in the Wicked show, and thought the trailer looked a little dull and thought Ariana Grande was a bad choice for a film like that. I was so incredibly wrong and it isn't even funny. I genuinely walked out of the cinema at a loss for words. I also can't believe how packed my…
