A Complete Unknown 2024
I think James Mangold is the ‘every-man’ director. He makes a solid film; for the most part, pulls on the right heart strings and leaves you fairly satisfied. This is all complementary and here I think his approach to the biopic is actually more earnest than something like a ‘bohemian rhapsody’ and instead focuses on the little things as well as the people surrounding Bob Dylan and his impact on them, so yeah I liked that.
Yes I’m a big Bob Dylan fan. Yes that probably had more of a positive bias on my experience.
