  Genuinely the best short I've ever watched. THIS IS HOW YOU USE THE MEDIUM. A fucking masterclass in aesthetics like Wong Kar Wai on crack fused with something completely unique. It's perfectly simple and yet so brilliantly executed and I need this director to make a feature film. I didn't think a short could make it into my favourites list but it has.

  I have a tenuous relationship with England. I never bought into the dream of pleasant green fields or the dull domesticity of quiet villages. I have no love for the english countryside because i have no connection or belonging over it - to me it’s always just felt boring and pruned, like the world’s biggest lawn.
