  Genuinely knocked out by Laura Carreira’s quietly devastating debut film ON FALLING, which portrays the crushing loneliness & dehumanisation of life as a warehouse picker in the gig economy.

  There are resonances with Ken Loach’s work, but I found Carreira’s film more subtle & nuanced. Highly recommended.
