Personally I find the story of the mother when she was younger (the first 30 mins of the film), the most enticing part of the film. One of the few musicals which does not become cheesy, stylish, and with an amazing french rendition of 'These Boots are made for walking'. the performance of Rasha Bukvic should be noted, though a small role, left an impression. Best French Film i have watched in a long time

Mansfield Park 2007
A strong cast, though not one of Jane Austen's better known novels, it was in fact the authors favourite, she held it in even higher regard than emma, pride and prejudice, and sense and sensibility. A great plot, typical of Jane Austen, and Billie Piper portrays the lead role perfectly!
