I really don’t know if expectations being low helped here but I was very surprised at how not disjointed and messy this movie was. In fact, I’m REALLY surprised that the story worked as well as it did AND was only 100 minutes. I am not sure why everyone is being so harsh about this movie. It certainly wasn't great, but it was fine and it really appealed to my 7 and 12 yr old. The 10 yr old got bored at the 90 minute mark and peaced out.

Remember when you wrote a movie when you were 9 and has pretty much no idea how things like story structure, editing, character development or motivation worked?
I have bad news… Sony stole that movie script you wrote, gave it to an 7 year old and had them do touch ups.
That’s this movie.
Oh and please spread the word that this movie isn’t in or related to the MCU, I don’t care how many Michael Keatons are in it. It’s just not.
