Maybe this should be half a point higher since it ended up being a really fun watch, but it was also just all over the place and kind of a bad movie?? But I think that was the point?? Still a fun time at the theaters though!

Need to see again without the screaming girls…first time in a while I haven't checked my watch to see how long the movie has been going on for. Steamy and so engaging, thanks a lot to the score. The use of this type of music is something I haven't seen before and it really pulled me in. Zendaya owns this type of power role, she plays it so well. Will be thinking of Josh O’Connors smirk and how he draws you in for a longgg time. Also the sauna scene 🥵

Highlights: the sound!! Acting performances specifically Timmy, Zendaya, Jessica Ferg, and Javier Bardem. The cinematography!! This really felt like an intense move theatre spectacle reminiscent of LotR
Cons: the “voice” still feels corny and got some laughs from the audience. The pace was a bit slow at the beginning, but necessary to set the plot and was at least highlighted by some good acting.

Had some very funny moments, but overall felt like some of the jokes didn't fit with the plot (I.e., driving the car into the ocean and then going straight into a sentimental moment). Jennifer Lawrence is so good and made the movie a lot more enjoyable than it would've been on it's own. Fun watch but nothing special
