JFK 1991
Viewing this movie as anything close to a historical film is both a massive mistake and the first step on a journey that leads to doubting the moon landing.
Viewing it as an American parable about the loss of innocence after Vietnam/Watergate/Political Assassinations of MLK and RFK makes it wildly effective.
I can’t stress this enough.
Although, I suppose the idea of a crusading American courageously standing up to power and defending truth is all very American.

It was wild to see this with a packed audience filled with people so mad that Zaslav cancelled Coyote vs Acme and eager to demonstrate how these characters have an engaged audience.

I went to see this on IMAX and wow, am I glad I did This and Oppenheimer are such great examples of how the format can make a theater-going experience so much more. I was utterly captivated by what I was seeing on screen. This movie is so much about physicality, emotions, and yes, tennis. My viewing experience was so enhanced by watching it on IMAX.
