Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind 1984
Love the aesthetic, music, style and vibes of this. Very cool designs for things. Very cool big gribblers. You can tell it's one of their early ones, and some of the voice acting is a little awkward. Love the 80s synthy music though

I think a very fun film. Some fun wacky characters and some cool dark whimsy? I don't know what the word is. But like a good timeI almost wondered why I didn't like it more, but I think it's that it more or less pans out how you might think? The sci fi premise is great, and the stuff along the way is good and fun, but it felt like a bit of a known quantity?

I think I'm writing my first review because I have watched this film and I do not like it.
To start, it should have been shorter. The first half especially felt pretty plot thin, and too thick on 'style' and Jordan eulogising which apparently was improvised, so makes some sense (still bad). They remembered to put some plot in the second half though which was cool.
