Only the realism in 80s flicks would explain how he managed to get his car out of the lake and repaired by the next day or how he managed to get all the furniture back in place before his parents came back from the airport. I feel like a great deal of inspiration was drawn from this to bring us Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
