The Alto Knights 2025
Horrendous
Upsets me to see the great Barry Levinson direct this terribly made atrocity. The first half of the movie is so poorly made and consists of a random sequencing of events and picture compilations that I almost walked out.
The screenplay was so bad I couldn’t believe what I was hearing at times, even though De Niro plays two main characters none of them say anything of worth but just repeat themselves and complain.
De Niro has truly gone downhill

This movie was very crazy and made me go on a diet..
Didn’t like how the movie took place in an apartment room for the majority of the film, and had some very repetitious compilations until the ending unraveled into an utter mess.
I do like the commitment to go really gross, gory and wild; but directors need to develop compelling and intelligent scripts around the chaos.
Gets 2.5 stars for Margaret Qualley
