  Mature & grown-up mumblecore. Hedonistic NYC millenials dream-following, novel-writing, art-collecting, etc. Amidst it all, Gerwig & Baumbach hold that friendship is what can give it all meaning. Much to think on here. For all the things that invariably get ranked above - family, romance, career - we discard friends without blinking. What if it were different?
