Enemy certainly succeeded in leaving me totally baffled. Logic defies here - and although I'm generally a fan of ambiguity, this does leave a feeling of cryptic overload. "Chaos is order yet undeciphered."

You may recall a scene from Tarrantino's Inglourious Basterds in which the premiere is being shown for Fredrick Zoller's self-featuring propaganda documentary 'Stolz der Nation' (Nation's Pride), in which he kills 200 soldiers as a sniper.
Eastwood's very similar depiction of glorified genocide left a familiar feeling of emptiness within after watching.
If you can get over the "fuck yeah, America" nationalistic drivel that's a prerequisite for these kinds of films, then you'll find yourself watching a moderately compelling war…
