An ultimate comfort movie for me.
Sure, a lot of it doesn’t add up. Sure, his partner and his job shouldn’t have taken him back. I don’t care.
I feel God inside me. Or is that just an anal-dwelling butt-monkey? Either way I have a wonderful time with this movie.
Refreshing to see a movie that’s unabashedly real.
I like being presented with a flawed character/viewpoint/scenario and instead of being force-fed an opinion, you’re just asked, “What do you think of this?”
Very crucial to stick around for the after-credits scene.
The absurdity is through the roof and permeates through every aspect of the show. Nothing is normal. It’s a fever dream with the perfect amount of a through line.

A perfect experience of humor, tension, and raw emotion. A movie with no underscore or needle drops because it requires no extra material to aide in the expression of its characters. The performances leave nothing to be desired. Al Pacino’s performance in particular is one-of-a-kind.
Very pleased at how progressive the gay/trans portrayals are. Delightful, unexpected cherry on top.
