The Return of the Living Dead 1985
it's everything you want and more from a zombie movie.
from awesome makeup, effects and different zombies (green, white, grey, some mostly-bones, others have flaky skin...) to great quotable lines, with memorable soundtrack and characters. it's perfect! i don't know if ive seen a movie with fleshy decaying undead with eyes popping out yelling "brains!" or the last time i saw hands rising from graves even though those are like. Pretty good special effects?
Characters are meh, story is kinda interesting, it's a tad bit slow on the beginning, and it's a bit cheesy at times.I disliked that one part with Phantom, and also how they made it seem like Astronomer's autism was an awful thing and some kind of disease? Also how were their mental states so different inside Coma? and they never show people in coma who are outside the project.
