The Theatre Bizarre 2011
A real mixed bag as is usually the way with these affairs.
The movie claims to be inspired by grand guignol style spectacle and I think it delivers on that but with better lighting than a hollywood studio movie.Translated from by -
The Knocking 2022
It turns out that Finnish woods can be weird places. I came for the promise of a folky kinda horror and stayed for the weird family drama. Scares are few and mostly confined to the last act.
On the whole The Knocking is not amazing but it's nicely paced and doesn't overstay it's welcome.
