This movie had so much potential to be a true masterpiece of scifi cinema; but it's all wasted because of over-cautiousness from the people in charge of producing the movie. My rating stays the same after this third rewatch, a 5/10 for a mediocre movie. The action and it's editing is atrocious; all the characters are bland, cliché and uninteresting... Very fun and entertaining low budget and low stakes action ride. Really liking the vibe they tried to convey. Some kind of indie movie that could be a DTV, but with a mysterious spark of humanity throughout.
It's like a tongue and cheek version of Max Payne starring a "nice" incel who happen to secretly be a badass when it's needed.
All in all, a very goofy and gory action comedy.
