One of the more disturbing films I've seen in recent times for sure. And the most disturbing element to it for me was the tense and troubled family dynamic, for some reason that kind of hit home with me. The horror in this felt the most taxing emotionally than anything else. But of course there are still other moments of utter brilliance, whether it be in direction or Toni Collette acting her mind out that make Hereditary and all around very complete psychological horror mystery.
