All I have to say is: WOW. This movie is unlike anything I've ever seen before. The narrative is completely different from your average film and it worked brilliantly. Some people complain that the third act is slightly weaker than the first two, but I personally found it to be the best. Ryan Gosling was damn good here, really pulling off the more emotionally charged moments. Bradley Cooper was just fantastic here and this was certainly the best performance he's…

    Napoleon Dynamite

    ★★★½

Although some of the humor falls flat, Napoleon Dynamite is a really good comedy that features some smartly written dialogue, a great lead performance, and hilarious scenes. The awkwardness of the lead character is perfectly portrayed and the subtle humor is laced throughout, making this a really solid comedy.

The story lost me at some points, but I really enjoyed O Brother, Where Art Thou? quite a bit. The performances are hilarious and well done across the board, the dialogue is fantastic as always with the Coens, and their direction is phenomenal. A very enjoyable film for me.

    Lone Survivor

    ★★★★

Told with unflinching brutality and featuring fantastic performances, Lone Survivor is an honest portrayal of what these four Navy Seals went through. Mark Wahlberg, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster, and Taylor Kitsch are all phenomenal and do very good here. Peter Berg directs the film perfectly, and the camerawork is great. The only problem I have here is the lack of character development. Lone Survivor is touching, emotional, and honest. Great war movie.
