  watched this remotely with a friend over a headset, which actually added a whole other layer of lockdown memories to this...
  holy shit though i LOVED THIS so so funny... and so so sweet and poignant about trying to make art in hell, basically? a proper real commentary on what that might look like in new times. also just loving shakespeare and feeling it something completely new in this absolutely stupid setting of GTA but also unexpected resonances with the language

  ParTeb reciting the Qu'ran when asked to do his audition speech, incredibly powerful

  -marc Anthony starts as a plonker and ends as one which makes their romance impossible to believe
  -multiple outfit changes per scene
  -somehow remained watchable throughout (Elizabeth Taylor's sparkly eyes ??)

  I loved it. I would like to watch it again. As a life long hater I came out of the cinema with critiques, and then I realised that actually it’s time to have a good time for once. Worm go brr !!!
