  don't love the demonization of incarcerated persons in this and i also don't love how they tried to make her out to be some sort of innocent hero.  she was a grown woman who broke the law and abused her position to have a relationship with an incarcerated man.  like she consciously did that.  he did not "take advantage of her"

  even if the movie itself was good/entertaining (it isn't), there's still the issue of the 15 year old/32 year old relationship.  and the colonialism.  and the racism.

  This movie is so so sweet. I (along with my family) am dealing with grief, and this movie like made me contextualize it differently? Love Natalie Morales's performance, and Jillian Bell also does a great job. Grief is a difficult thing to deal with, but what if your loved one was back for 48 hours? The premise is really powerful, and I love any movie that has a depiction of women friendships. So it gets a high score.
