  Below average how long can Guy Ritchie keep on making the same crime film but not improve on his formula at all also did he steal the ending scene from the long good Friday?

  Great character study of a man not being able to be content with any sort of occupation,hobby or make any long term connection or commitment to anyone or anything. Always having to move town, job and romantic interests. This must have been a influence on mad men for don drapers character. Beautiful film the shots in the Washington parts and the oil drill scenes were great.

  One of the best anti  war films ever. The decisions  to not show any war scenes and just to show the carnage of bodies being brought back every day and the gore of all the surgeries was genius. The stress and trauma of treating all these soldiers nearly every day makes the characters turn to alcohol and a lot of black humour and at worst some very despicable actions towards fellow comrades to vent their anger and frustration.
