Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero 1998
This is my platonic ideal Batman. When the animated crew gets a budget and a runtime longer than 20 minutes, and a little leeway in content, they create the definitive version of Batman.
So far, there’s so much more emotional and tonal maturity in the animated films from the Timmverse than the later established animated universe which tends to have the maturity of a Hot Topic storefront.
