Taking my wife through Star Wars for her first time.
It’s a slow movie by today’s standards but it helps you lock into the world and build to a third act that is so well edited for suspense. Always feel like a kid watching X Wings vs the Death Star.
While the Obi Wan series did miss on execution it did add a new layer to how we meat “Ben”, Uncle Owen and the aunt. Fills in the tension.

Great valentines movie.
Loved the steady performance from Pitt and Hill. Their chemistry was spot on.
I do like how the story is told in line with his own. Lots of questions about what else was happening but didn’t distract from the story.
The pacing was hit and miss. Some scenes sat perfectly long others dragged.
Overall great sports movie. Highlights how baseball became what it is today.
I need another Astros World Series Win.
This was my favorite viewing of this movie.
I had originally just seen the Dark Knight before I saw Batman Begins. Always compared the two.
In reality so much of the mythos was laid here. And I hadn’t appreciated that enough. The script is so good.
You can clearly see how this movie was about 50% Nolan and 50% WB. As they go on they become more Nolan.
Can’t wait to watch the next two!
