Hilariously absurd comedy that’s so outside of Scorsese’s go to feel. It obviously looks amazing but it’s also stylistically such a departure from Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, and Raging Bull. This one was fun just to be fun, and I laughed out loud
Also, this was probably an under cover PSA Scorsese did as a solid for the Catholic Church to warn against casual flings
I hate himbo Thor, I hate Volume technology, I hate making every god the exact same brand of dumb, I hate rushing through scenes of dialogue a mile a minute. I LOVE Christian Bale and he’s incapable of doing any wrong onscreen
It cannot be overstated how much I miss Branagh and the vibe of Thor 1. I love that movie so much and wish Thor got to be to Branagh what Cap was to the Russo’s.
